Wolves
Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, founded in 1877, is one of English football's most storied clubs. Based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, Wolves play at Molineux Stadium, a 31,750-capacity ground with a rich history as one of the first English clubs to install floodlights. Wolves won 3 league titles, with the most recent in 1958-59, and were pioneers of European competition in the 1950s, hosting legendary friendlies against Honvéd and Spartak Moscow that helped inspire the creation of the European Cup. Under Nuno Espírito Santo and later Gary O'Neil, Wolves re-established themselves in the Premier League. The club is known for its Portuguese connection, having signed numerous players from Portugal under former agent Jorge Mendes's influence.
