Olympique Gymnaste Club Nice Cote d'Azur is a French professional football club based in Nice, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur. Founded in 1904, the club plays at the Allianz Riviera, a modern 36,178-seat stadium inaugurated in 2013. Nice has won four Ligue 1 titles, with the most recent coming in the 1958-59 season, and three Coupe de France trophies. The club has experienced a significant revival since its acquisition by Ineos, the British chemical company owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, in 2019. Under this new ownership, Nice has invested substantially in both playing squad and infrastructure, competing regularly for European qualification places. The club is known for its strong connection to the Mediterranean coastal city and draws passionate support from the Cote d'Azur region. During the 2024-25 season, goalkeeper Marcin Bulka established himself as one of the outstanding performers in Ligue 1, while the squad featured a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talents.
