Olympique Lyonnais is a French professional football club based in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes. Lyon dominated French football in the 2000s, winning an unprecedented seven consecutive Ligue 1 titles from 2002 to 2008, a period widely regarded as the golden era of the club.
