Racing Club de Lens is a French professional football club based in Lens, Hauts-de-France. Founded in 1906, the club plays at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, a 38,000-seat stadium renowned for its electric atmosphere and some of the most passionate supporters in French football. Lens narrowly missed winning the Ligue 1 title in the 2022-23 season, finishing just one point behind Paris Saint-Germain in a thrilling title race. The club has a proud working-class heritage rooted in the coal-mining traditions of the Pas-de-Calais region, and the血脉 between the club and its community remains deeply intertwined. Lens won their only Ligue 1 championship in the 1997-98 season and have claimed the Coupe de la Ligue twice.
