Cagliari Calcio, founded in 1920, is an Italian football club based in Cagliari, Sardinia. The club's greatest achievement came in 1970 when it won its only Serie A title, led by the legendary Gigi Riva — Italy's all-time top scorer. The club plays at the Unipol Domus, a 16,416-capacity stadium. Cagliari is the only major football club from the island of Sardinia and carries the pride of the entire island.
